Matchless Thunderman Tube Set

The Matchless Thunderman Tube Set consists of 2 x 12AX7, 2 EL34 Power tubes (Matched Pair) and 1 5AU4GB Rectifier.

Expertly handcrafted in typical Matchless fashion with artfully simple controls, the 45 watt Thunderman bass amp is designed to be any bass player’s workhorse.

Like all Matchless amps, the Thunderman will provide clean and usable headroom as well as plenty of raw bottom-end. The Thunderman’s compression circuit is provided for adding a cleaner attack for tight back-up passages as well as for hard string slaps. The power amp is fed by a 12AX7 phase inverter which drives two EL34 power tubes which gives the amp punch and extremely sensitive touch response. The rectifier circuit is driven by one 5U4G for warm sag.
