The Bogner Alchemist Tube Set consists of 5 x 12AX7 preamp tubes and 2 x 6L6 power tubes.

The Alchemist™ line of amplifiers was a partnership between Bogner Amplification and Line 6. Reinhold Bogner created and designed the circuits and Line 6 manufactured, marketed and customer supports the amp line.
Alchemist has two channels: Gold, the left channel, opens gradually to present simmering blues tones; Mercury, on the right, invokes the famous white-hot Bogner gain. Both channels bring out the natural characteristics of your guitar, no matter what you’re playing. There’s also a 20-watt variac mode that’s perfect for lower volume gigs.
